The Saiga
The Saiga is a critically endangered antelope only found in Mongolia , Kalmykia and Kazakhstan . It has been on the planet since the last ice age . It used to roam a big part of Central Eurasia and North America. Only about 50,000 are left in the wild. About 95% of the population was killed in the 20th century. The world wildlife fund encouraged the hunting of the Saiga as a alternative to rhino horns.
